    Penduka Baby carrier

    ‘Baby swaddle wrap carrier’
The aim of this project was to design a product for ‘Penduka’ which is the NGO that supports female workers in Namibia to produce by themselves. I chose this item in a hope to link people all over the world with the ladies of Penduka through the common custom of ‘baby-carrying.’
The design of ‘Baby swaddle wrap carrier’ is based on the actual ones which the Penduka women are using in their daily life. Babies feel safe and comfortable when they are wrapped softly in a cloth like arms of the parents. So, I added another function ‘to wrap the baby’ to the original usage.
